Solved Jump to solution

I am running a 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H 2.30 GHz

i have the intel arc and xe graphics driver

I have intel command center and I created some color profiles,

now I want to quickly switch between color profiles, by means of a hotkey or a desktop shortcut,

but I cant seem to find a way to do it

I have found a section on hotkeys, but the only option is an hotkey to open the command center, I dont need that.

Thanks!

Hi,pertholds.

I appreciate your quick response.Unfortunately, it seems that the IGCC beta does not currently offer the option to assign hotkeys to profile changes. I apologize for any confusion caused by mentioning the IGCC beta earlier.

While the current options may not meet your immediate needs, I will certainly endorse your feedback regarding the desire for hotkey or shortcut functionality to our technical team. Your input is valuable as we strive to improve our products and user experience. If there are any other questions or concerns you have, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Best regards,

Hi, pertholds.

Thank you for patiently waiting.

It's great to hear that you're utilizing the Intel Command Center and have created color profiles for your system. To access additional features, you mayutilize the IGCC beta version.Nevertheless, it's important to note that the capability to switch between color profiles using hotkeys is presently unavailable. The default hotkeys are outlined in the provided screenshot.

Hi,pertholds.

I appreciate your response. While it may not be possible to switch profiles with hotkeys as initially hoped, there will be alternative methods or workarounds.

Subsequently, we would recommend sharing the steps below to aid in using the IGCC beta:

Customize hot keys in theIntel®Graphics Command Center

  1. From the Windows Start Menu, search forIntelGraphics Command Center. Double click theIntel® Graphics Command Centericon to open the application.
  2. ClickSystemin the left navigational menu.
  3. Customize thehotkey combinations in theHotkeystab.

Customize hot keys in theIntel® Graphics Control Panel

  1. From the Windows Start Menu, search forIntelGraphics Control Panel. Double-click theIntel® Graphics Control Panelicon.
  2. In the Intel® Graphics Control Panel, clickOptions and Support.
  3. Navigate to theHot KeyManagerin the left navigation menu.
  4. Select the hot key that you want to personalize.
  5. Once the changes are made, selectSave Profile.

The Intel® Graphics Control Panel isavailable on systems that useIntel® Graphics Controllerswith the correct drivers installed.

Please be guided that the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) can disable certain hot-key functions. You may not be able to select a new hot key combination if it isalready being used for another application.

Thanks VonM for the reply,

if there is no option to assign hotkey to a profile, how can I change a profile with an hotkey?

You just admitted that its not possible to change a color profile with an hotkey

I dont understand why you are sharing steps to IGCC beta, when you said that that IGCC beta does not contain hotkey options to change profiles.

I am only interested in changing profiles by pressing an hotkey, or creating a shortcut on my desktop I can double click to change the profile, without having to boot up the command center, wait for it to load and navigate all the menus manually, I want a fast and easy instant change from pressing a shortcut
