These quotes are inspiring, uplifting and so much fun. I think they are perfect for the new year when we are all setting goals, looking forward to the year ahead and could really use being pumped up!

Finding Inspiration

Storytime friends– Last March I turned in my most recent book The Unofficial Book Of Handmade Cricut Crafts: Creating Customized Gifts With Your Electronic Cutting Machine, to my publisher and I felt DRAINED.

I felt like I had poured absolutely everything I had into the book. The book was beautiful (thanks to photographs from Andrea Marvan) and I was extremely proud of it. I had high hopes that Cricut crafters everywhere would love it, but I was tired and felt like I had nothing left to give.

Those feelings of being so drained made me stop believing in myself. I felt like I had no creativity left inside, which made me feel like a giant fraud.

Fast forward to the end of October/beginning of November, I was still having those feelings and that’s when I decided to start a Cricut Facebook Group. There is almost nothing that makes me feel happier than talking about Cricut crafting with other Cricut users, so I decided that I would give it my best shot to surround myself with Cricut crafter positivity.

Guess what? It 100% worked! These people have me feeling inspired, creatively recharged and like I believe in myself once again!

It’s with them in mind that I created today’s free cut file.

Believe In Yourself SVG

For this week’s free SVG I created a Believe In Yourself design. You all know how obsessed I am with rainbows, and since this design is all about pumping yourself up, you know I had to make it in rainbow colors!

Fear not though. If rainbows aren’t your think you can easily make this design using other colors.

Put this cut file on all the things, because it’s a really great message that I think we all need to hear AND believe much more often than we do. Planner stickers, mugs, gym clothing tote bags… you get the idea!
